Fillo, Mary (15 AUG 1953)

Miss Mary Fillo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Fillo of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Howard L. Werdin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Werdin of Michigan City, Ind., in a ceremony performed by Rev. Hart at St. John’s Church in Michigan City on Saturday afternoon, Aug. 15, 1953.

For her wedding the bride was attired in a white simi-formal gown with white hat and veil. She carried a bouquet of pompoms.

The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Maitland. Mrs. Maitland wore an aqua formal and her bouquet was of yellow pompoms.

The bride has been employed by a steel company in Evanston, Ill., as machine operator and inspector. The groom, who is is mechanic, spent two years in the service, serving in Korea.

They spent their honeymoon in Wisconsin Dells, and are now visiting at Thorp. They will make their home in Wisconsin.
