Ronald Pogodzinski, age 59 of 250 Crumb St. Gilman, WI passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Memorial Health Center, Medford, WI.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Plombon Funeral Chapel, Stanley, WI with Pastor Daniel Welch officiating. Burial in St. Mary’s Polish National Cemetery, Lublin, WI will be held at a later date. Honorary pallbearers are: Michael Seng Jr., Richey Truckey Jr., Matthew, Dillon, & Logan Peterson, Alex Davis & Jake & Gus Brandemuehl. Friends and family called from noon until the time of service at the funeral home.

Ronald was born May 12, 1950 in Stanley, WI, the son of Leon and Geraldine (Sennett) Pogodzinski. He grew up in the Lublin area and attended area schools, graduating from the Gilman High School in 1967. He was employed as a truck driver and worked at various jobs throughout the years. Besides his love for his family, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and his motorcycle.

He is survived by his children, Ron Jr. (Sharon) Pogodzinski of Fall Creek, WI, Lynn (Mike) Koch of Thorp, WI, Lisa (Adam) Davis of Medford, WI, Holly (Eddie) Peterson of Thorp, WI, Eric (Kim) Pogodzinski of Pensacola, FL; 2 step-children: Joshua Hendricks of Chippewa Falls, WI, and Matthew Hendricks of Berlin, WI; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and special friend Irene Przybylski of Stanley, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
