Mrs. Martin Daenicke was discharged from St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, Saturday afternoon. She was treated for a poisoning received while at work in her garden.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Lukas and family, Thorp, spent Tuesday at the home of his brother, Frank Lukas.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Benzmann, Milan; Mr. and Mrs. Joel Skoog, and son, Vaughn, Prentice, Mrs. Frank Stang, and Wilmer Paul, Curtiss, were at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Woempner Monday when Mrs. Woempner celebrated here birthday anniversary.

Mrs. Frank Stang had as her guests Sunday, Mrs. Minnie Laack, Mrs. Auguts Weideman, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Busse and Mr. and Mrs. John Hoge.

The fire department answered a call, Wednesday morning, about 11:30. A pile of old lumber at the rear of the Ferdinand Haack home started burning.

Joe Lukas, Bob Dembar and Norbert Lukas returned to Chicago, Saturday, having spent the past week at the Frank Lukas home. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Les also returned the same day after a four days’ visit here.

Mr. and Mrs. George Plockelman, of Chicago, spent Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Chris Bremer.

The Misses Gayle Schraufnagel, Elaine Daenicke and Rowene Schaefer spent Wednesday afternoon and evening in Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Radtke, Plymouth, spent last week end with Mr. and Mrs. Gib Kattre.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weideman and daughters spent Sunday at the Harley German home at Curtiss.

Mrs. Leslie Lamkins, Manawa, spent Sunday and Monday with her sister, Mrs. M. C. Bunnell.

The weather was favorable for the free show, Tuesday night. The public is invited to attend every Tuesday night.

Sgt. George Garbrecht, who is being transferred from Texas to Milwaukee, spent Monday and Tuesday here with his brother, Fred.

Billy Loughead underwent a tonsillectomy at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, Wednesday.

Miss Alice Pollack was honor guest Wednesday afternoon when she celebrated her tenth birthday anniversary at her home. Her guests were Beth, Linda, Karen, Owen and Noel Schraufnagel, Kenneth, Jerry, and Marian Seidel, and Miss Mary Shields.

Mrs. Mary Lukasiewicz, Thorp, spent last week at the home of her son, Frank Lukas. Mr. and Mrs. Lukas and Mrs. Norman Lukas accompanied her home *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
