Fessenden, Jonas #2 (25 OCT 1827 - 11 MAY 1907)

Jonas Fessenden died at his home in the town of Levis (Clark Co., Wis.) last Saturday. He was born in New York, Oct. 25, 1827. When 16 years of age he came to Wisconsin, most of the succeeding years of his life being spent in this vicinity. He was married to Angeline Day in 1857 and was the father of three sons and five daughters. The funeral occurred at Dells Dam Church Tuesday, Rev. Rohrabaugh officiating. Mr. Fessenden was a hard working farmer, and was highly respected by all who knew him.

Jonas Adelbert Fessenden was the son of Solomon (1788-1871) & Clarissa Shepardson Fessenden, Jr.

Solomon, Jr. was the son of Solomon (1762-1818) & Elizabeth Tucker Fessenden, Sr.

Solomon, Sr. was the son of Timothy (1731-1805) & Elizabeth Pierce Fessenden.

Timothy was the son of Thomas (1684-1738) & Abrigal Locke Fessenden.

Thomas was the son of Nicholas (c1650-1718/19) & Margaret Cheney Fessenden.

Nicholas was the son of Robert & Mary Fessenden of England.

Jonas Adelbert Fessenden, who died of face cancer, was married to Mary Angeline Johnston, daughter of Rebecca Jane Lowery & first husband Henry Johnston. Archibald Day was Rebecca Jane's second husband, step-father of Mary Angeline.

Elbert Adelbert (1867-1942) m. Margaret Rundle & Lillian Pierce.

Birdine (1870-1877) died of pneumonia
