Krueger, Betty (Marriage - 17 Aug. 1946)

Miss Betty Krueger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Krueger, of Owen, became the bride of Melvin Gosse, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gosse, town of Colby, Saturday afternoon, at 2:00 o‘clock, in a double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. O. Hoffmann in the Lutheran church at Colby, Wis.

The bride wore a white satin gown with a train and a long, white veil. She carried a shower bouquet of red roses.

Attending her as maid of honor was her cousin, Miss Kathryn Hazel Krueger, of Colby, Wis. She wore a white net dress.

The bridesmaids, the Misses Marion and Harriet Gosse, sisters of the groom, were dressed alike in frocks of blue and yellow, respectively.

The attendants all wore shoulder length veils, caught to a wreath of flowers and carried bouquets of red roses.

Herman Gosse, brother of the groom, was best man, and Ben Krueger, cousin of the bride, and Vernon Haschbush, town of Colby, Wisconsin were ushers.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Untiedt, at Curtiss. In the evening, a dance was held at Walter’s pavilion, at Colby, Wis.

At present, Mr. and Mrs. Gosse are making their home in Owen.
