Rossow, Audrey #2 (16 JUN 1951)

Miss Audrey Rossow, daughter of Mrs. Elda Rossow, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Rinehart Rohland, also of Withee, were untied in marriage at 10:00 o’clock Saturday morning, June 16, 1951, in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Longwood. The Rev. Otis K. Odland, Curtiss, was the officiating clergyman.

The bride approached the altar gowned in a dress of skinner satin trimmed with Chantilly lace and appliquéd flowers with dotted gold bead sequins. She carried a bouquet of white carnations centered by an orchid and streamers decorated with little white carnations.

Miss Janice Blazer, as maid of honor, was attired in a yellow frosted organdy with a belt of white ribbon. She wore yellow half gloves and carried a bouquet of yellow and white carnations with yellow net.

Serving as bridesmaid was Miss Dorothy Nielsen, Withee, who wore a blue frosted organdy formal identical to that of the maid of honor. She wore blue half-gloves and carried a bouquet of blue and white carnations with blue net.

Miss Caroly Fijalkiewicz of Mt. Shasta Calif., as flower girl, wore a blue organdy over blue taffeta formal.

Howard Frederick, With, was best man and Guy Weidman served as groomsman.

A reception was served after the ceremony at the parish hall, Longwood, and a dance was held at the Merry Ol’ Gardens that evening.

The bride attended the Withee grade and high schools, while the groom is a graduate of the Withee High School. The couple will make their home north of Withee, where the groom is engaged in the occupation of farming.
