Mrs. Emberson and Mrs. Overhouse were shopping in Neillsville Saturday.

Les Dusso's little boy had the misfortune to break his arm the day of the picnic.

Robert Schoonmaker, who has been taking treatments at Eau Claire, is back in school again.

Jack Syth was elected champion ice cream eater (except one) the day of the picnic.

Girls get busy for we haven't seen you in the new car yet. We wonder why?

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Quimby and little daughter visited at the Kalkofen home Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Carteron and daughter of the southern part of the state visited at the O.L. Carteron home a few days the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. George Scherer and family called on Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Lenherr Sunday.

Miss Florence Scherer of Greenwood spent Sunday with her cousin, Mary Scherer.

Miss Sybil Poirier visited school at Greenwood Monday.

Francis Scherer and Orville Kalkofen were Greenwood callers Monday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. George Scherer and Mr. and Mrs. N.W. Scherer motored to Marshfield, where M. N.W. Scherer underwent another operation at the hospital there. Mr. Scherer's many friends of Eaton Center hope her will be better soon.

Eaton Center school closed Friday with a picnic and program, which was attended by a large crowd. There were eight pupils graduated from the 8th grade. The commencement exercises were as follows:
