Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Buker and Miss Billie Wetzel were Eau Claire visitors on Tuesday.

Mrs. A.C. Barr and daughter Hazel, and Miss Violet McCarty were Loyal visitors Wednesday.

Mrs. Schuster and Mrs. Calway of Neillsville were callers at the F.A. Oelig home last Wednesday.

There will be English services at the Reformed Church on the West Side next Sunday evening at 8:00 o'clock.

Miss Elsie Wood went to Fairchild Tuesday to attended the library convention.

Dance at the Will Syth barn Thursday evening, may 27th. Everybody is welcome.

Joe Brauneis and Miss Hazel Barr attended the dance at Owen Thursday evening.

E.L. Ketchpaw and Chas. Guptill transacted business at La Crosse last Thursday.

Mrs. C.J. Carter, Mrs. Orville Griesmore and Miss Beatrice Greene arrived here from Toledo, Ohio last Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Borham, Mrs. Phil Christie and Mrs. M. E. Kenyon were Marshfield visitors Thursday.

Jack Moberg of Wausau and Miss Lemmer of Marathon City spent Sunday here at the Ole Moberg home.

Mrs. C.C. Hoehne and son George autoed to Madison Friday, where Mrs. Hoehne will remain with her children Ilma and Julius, until the close of the present school year of the U. of W..

Miss Violet McCarty of Longwood spent Wednesday at the A.C. Barr home.

Carl Keiner and Clarence Hogue were at Eau Claire Tuesday.

Mrs. Ed Arends entertained the Merry-go-round Club at her home last Wednesday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. N.W. Scherer were Marshfield visitors Saturday.

Otto Dary, employed at Marshfield, got his finger caught in a grooving machine last week, injuring it quite badly.

A.H. Noetzel has improved the looks of his building near the filling station with a new coat of paint.

Mrs. A.C. Barr and daughters Hazel, Viola and Jessie and Mrs. A.H. Noetzel were Neillsville callers Saturday.

Mrs. J. Volk, who has been spending several weeks at the home of her son Alonzo at Allen, Wis., returned home Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sherwin of Woodstock, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hill of Chili, Wis., visited at the Bert Wilcox home Sunday.

The Misses Evangeline Sheets and Pearl Ross went to Milwaukee Thursday for a visit with relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Bowman and son of Elmwood, Wis. spent a few days of this week at the F.G. MacLachlan home.

Mrs. J.S. Andrews went to Fairchild Monday to attend a library convention, and for a visit with relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Wagner of St. Nazianz and Joseph Gries of Timothy spent Sunday here with relatives and friends.

Palmer Vinger transacted business at Kenosha last Thursday.

Mrs. E.L. Ketchpaw entertained the Schafskopf Club at her home Thursday evening.

Mrs. O.C. Behrens and Mrs. Fred Behrens and son went to Wausau Thursday for a visit with Clyde Behrens.

Mrs. C.M. Bradford and granddaughter of Neillsville spent Sunday at the A.C. Barr home.

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Erickson of Longwood went to Neenah last week, called there by the serious illness of Mr. Erickson's mother. She died last Wednesday forenoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Vinger and daughter Vivian spent Sunday at Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. F.G. MacLachlan and children visited at the home of his brother at Chippewa Falls on Sunday.

W.W. Brown returned from Fremont Saturday, where he visited his mother. She is 92 years old.

The 500 Club met at the Vinger home Saturday evening. Prizes were won as follows: 1st, Mrs. Andrew Lindner and John Lindner; consolation, Mrs. Wm. Denk and Joe Schmitz. A very enjoyable time was had by all.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Corbin and sons Lawrence and Charles, and Henry and Miss Edith Keiner arrived here Wednesday for an extended visit at the C. Keiner home.
