Krueger, Lucille Edna (Marriage - 22 Dec. 1945)

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde F. Raymond will be home to friends at 910 ½ Third Avenue South, in Wausau, after their return from a wedding trip in southern Wisconsin, about Jan. 1.

Miss Lucille Edna Krueger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Krueger and Clyde F. Raymond, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Raymond, Wausau, exchanged vows on Saturday, Dec. 22 in the Lutheran parsonage at Colby, Wis. The Rev. O. Hoffman read the service at 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon.

The bride chose a street frock of dark grey with pin stripe and wore a winter white hat with brown veiling and brown accessories. She wore a shoulder corsage of pale pink roses and white pompons.

Attending the couple were Miss Joyce Soucek, Milan, a friend of the bride, and the bride’s sister, Miss Adeline Krueger, Abbotsford, Wis. They wore navy blue dresses, black and white accessories and shoulder corsages of white carnations and pompons.

Robert Saager, cousin of the groom, and Harold Haas, both of Wausau, were the groom’s attendants.

The bride’s mother wore a green suit dress with black accessories. The groom’s mother also wore a green dress and black accessories.

Following the ceremony a wedding supper was served at the Abby Café to 18 guests. A decorated wedding cake and lighted candles formed the center piece on the bridal table. Blue and white streamers were also used in the decorations.

Among the guests from away were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Raymond, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Lamphier and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Raymond, all of Wausau.
