Bardell, Minnie (27 September 1871 - 23 November 1951)

Mrs. Minnie Bardell, age 80, died at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clint Bardell, at Spencer on November 23.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday at two o’clock at the Georgas Funeral Home with the Rev. Virgil Nulton officiating. Interment was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mrs. Bardell, nee Minnie Meyers, was born September 27, 1871 at Leaf River, Ill. She received her education in the schools in Illinois and worked as a young lady in Illinois. On February 16, 1893 she was married to William Bardell at Freeport, Ill. They lived on a farm there until 1904. They then moved to the Town of York where they farmed until 1919. Mrs. Bardell then moved to Neillsville and resided in her home on North Hewett Street until last year when she moved to the home of her son Clint, at Spencer.

She is survived by three children, Clarence Bardell of Waukegan, Ill., Clint Bardell of Spencer, and Mrs. William (Emma) Senft of Delaware, Ohio; also six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Meyers of Leaf River, Ill., and Jess Meyers of Rockford, Ill.; and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Heller of Marshfield, and Mrs. H. E. (Gertrude) Clem of Reseda, Cal.

Her husband, one brother, Milton, and two sisters, Lydia and Elsie, preceded her in death.
