Voss, Anna (15 Sept. 1882 - 7 Dec. 1944)

Funeral services for Mrs. G. C. Voss, who died this morning at her home in Abbotsford, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby, where the body is lying in state. The Rev. Ferguson of the Methodist church will conduct the services and internment will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Mrs. Voss had been seriously ill for the past seven weeks.

Funeral services for Mrs. G. C. Voss, who died Dec. 14, were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at Lulloff’s Funeral Home at Colby and at 2:30 o’clock at the Methodist church with the Rev. M. B. Ferguson officiating. Internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Edmund Thede, Alex Thede and George Kelsey, Abbotsford; Ted and Art Salter, Unity; and Henry Ecke, Marshfield.

The floral tributes were in charge of Mr. and Mrs. Sewell Cook and Mrs. Elmer Langjahr, Unity, Wis.

Mrs. Voss, the former Anna Hansen, was born in Marshfield on Sept. 15, 1882, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Hansen. The early part of her life was spent in this vicinity. She was married to Gust Voss at Marshfield on April 13, 1903.

After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Voss moved to Colby and have lived in the vicinity of Colby and Abbotsford since, with the exception of three and one-half years spent in Dodgeville.

Mrs. Voss had been in ill health for several years and for three weeks was seriously ill at her home, where she died Thursday morning at 9:30 of complications.

Surviving are her husband, Gust Voss, Abbotsford; a son, Edmund, of Dorchester; and a daughter, Mrs. Theodore (Mildred) Domer, Unity; four grand children, and two brothers, Anton Hansen, Marshfield, and James Hansen, Waukesha. One sister, one brother, and her parents preceded her in death.

Relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Falck and daughters, Hortonville; Mr. and Mrs. George Voss, Hilbert; Mr. and Mrs. Will Voss, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Valentin Kaeser, New Holstein; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Weister and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ecke, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hansen, and Mrs. Lester Hansen, Vesper; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hansen, Pittsville; Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Thede and Mr. and Mrs. Alex Thede, Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Zimmer, Stevens Point; and Mr. and Mrs. George Schoenfeld, Wausau.
