Geiger, Ethel C. (Marriage - 28 Oct. 1942)

Miss Ethel C. Geiger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Geiger, Sr., of Dorchester, and Edward Pupp, son of Mrs. Louisa Pupp, of Stratford, were united in marriage in St. Louis’ Catholic church at Dorchester, Wednesday morning at 9:00 o’clock before a nuptial high mass. The Rev. Phillip Weller read the marriage service. The children’s choir sang during the mass.

The bride wore a white satin gown with a long train, sweetheart neckline and long sleeves. Heart shaped satin appliqués ornamented her long veil. The bridal bouquet was made of carnations.

Attending her was Miss Adeline Stoiber who wore a gown of teal made with puffed sleeves and a square neckline. She wore a wrist corsage of asters and roses.

George Geiger, brother of the bride, was best man.

Following the ceremony a reception and dinner and supper for about 100 guests were held at the home of the bride’s parents. In the evening a wedding dance was held at the Trianon.

Before her marriage, the bride was employed at the Roddis Lumber Co., Marshfield. The groom, who is a graduate of the Abbotsford high school, has been engaged in farming.

Mr. and Mrs. Pupp will make their home on the groom’s farm near Stratford.

Among the guests who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. William Pupp and family and Mr. and Mrs. George Pupp and family, Abbotsford, Wis.
