Mrs. Leona Ohlinger moved to Abbotsford, Wis.

Michael Hilber, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hilber, is a patient at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital.

Carl Johnson underwent surgery at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital and is getting along nicely.

Ray Decker received word Friday of the death of his sister, Mrs. Ann Reachman of Ramona, Calif.

Mr. and Mrs. LaMonte Dulmes and daughter, Patty Ann, spent the week-end at the Hugo Brehm home.

Mr. and Mrs. John Gries were in Evanston, Ill., recently where they attended funeral services for the former’s sister.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Jacobi have moved into the former Waldhart residence in the first ward which they purchased.

Mr. and Mrs. George Carr returned home after visiting Mrs. J. Barrett in Denver, Colo., and touring south western Colorado.

Allen Dins of Colby and Robert Dahlke of Edgar attended the Wisconsin-Michigan State football game at Madison Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hederer and Mrs. Celia Woodkey attended the golden wedding celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Max Woodkey at Marshfield Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Mellenthin spent the week-end in Milwaukee where they attended a Braves baseball game. Mrs. Mellenthin also attended a beauty culture convention.

Guests at the home of Mrs. Anthony L. Schemmer were Mrs. John D. West of Manitowoc Friday and Saturday; Mrs. Vigo Hansen of Withee Friday; Mrs. Frank Travis of Medford Sunday.

Penny Schreiber, student nurse at the Children’s Hospital, Milwaukee, and Joanne Schreiber, attending State Teachers’ College at Stevens Point, spent the week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Schreiber.

Mr. and Mrs. John Acevedo of Chicago, Ill., visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Rychtik over the week-end. Miss Dorothy Glabas of Chicago, niece of Mr. and Mrs. Rychtik, spent two weeks at the Rychtik home.

Pfc. Kenneth C. Friday has returned to Ansbach, Germany, after spending a 30-day furlough at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Friday. Pfc. Friday entered the U.S. Army in May, 1960, and was assigned to Ansbach last November.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Caldwell have moved to Milan and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hansen and family have moved into the house in the first ward vacated by the Caldwells. Robert is in the U.S. Navy and is spending an 11-day leave with his family before reporting for duty at New York.

Mrs. Emma Sebold of Sheboygan Falls arrived in Colby Tuesday for a visit at the home of Mrs. Albert Dins and with other relatives and friends. Allen Dins, accompanied by his mother, Mrs. Albert Dins, and Mrs. Sebald, autoed to Eagle Grove, Iowa, Wednesday for a visit with the latter’s sister, Mrs. Hattie Shay, who is staying with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Manuels.
