Page, Edith Belle (27 Dec. 1873 - 13 Oct. 1912)

Mrs. Warren Page Dead

Mrs. Warren Page quietly passed away at her home in the town of Grant Sunday morning after suffering several weeks with pneumonia and a complication of diseases. The immediate cause of her death being heart failure. The deceased was born Edith Belle Breed, only child of Edson and Gustie Breed, just north of here in the town of York 39 years ago the 27th day of December. When she was but years of age her father died and consequently she was doubly end endeared to the widowed mother. In early womanhood she became the wife of one Dell Wood of Nasonville. To them was born one child, a boy, Frank Elaine Wood. When this child was but a. few years old, deceased was made a widow and with him returned to live with her mother and it was from this home she again departed only 3 years since, to become the beloved wife of Warren Page. He, with her son, Frank Wood, and her mother survive her.

Edith was well and favorably known here where she grew up, attended the graded schools, completing the course therein, and spent the greater part of her life. She was an estimable, educated, worthy woman, very helpful thru all her life's journey to those with whom she was associated. One who will be sorely missed by her loved ones and her large circle of appreciative friends. The sympathy of the whole community goes out to the bereaved ones through the untimely death of this loved wife, mother and daughter. The funeral was held from the Adventist church Wednesday afternoon, Mr. Wilson Mallory of Stevens Point officiating. The choir consisting of the Mesdames Albert Mabie, Romanzo Davis and the Messrs Byrl Winn and F. Pietenpol with Miss Inez Holmes as organist, well rendered very appropriate anthems. The pall bearers were Frank and Romanzo Davis, Frank Lavey, T. D. Wage, Price Lee and Rella Osgood. Interment was made in the Windfall cemetery. The Royal Neighbors of which order she was a charter member exemplified their burial services at the grave. An unusually large funeral and the profusion of flowers were mute testimonials of the esteem in which deceased was held.
