Briski, Dolores (6 MAY 1950)

Miss Dolores Briski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Briski of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Mr. Stanley Lendosky, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lendosky of Thorp, at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church of Thorp on May 6th, 1950. father F. Piekarski officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride, who was escorted to the altar by her father, wore a long white satin gown with a long train edged with lace and a fingertip veil which was caught by a sweetheart crown of lace and pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses and white carnations.

Miss Dolores Malnar, niece of the bride, as maid of honor, wore a pink taffeta gown styled with a net yoke and a hoop skirt. She carried a bouquet of yellow, white and pink carnations.

The Misses Leona Lendosky, sister of the groom, and Caroline Digoski, friend of the couple, acted as bridesmaids. They wore green and yellow taffeta gowns respectively, which were styled identically to the maid of honor. Their bouquets were also of yellow, white and pink carnations.

The groom was attended by LaVern Neisius, friend of the couple, as best man, and Theodore Briski, brother of the bride, as usher. They wore carnation boutonnieres.

A wedding dinner and supper was held at the bride’s home to 100 immediate relatives and friends.

A dance was given at Merry Ol’ Gardens in the evening with music and Mike and his Nightingales. The couple received many lovely gifts and they will make their home on the groom’s farm in the town of Reseburg.

The bride is a graduate of the Greenwood High School with the class of 1948.

Albert Briski of Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Tony Briski and Kay of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Vivoda, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Stimec and family of Cicero, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Horn of Wausau, Wis.
