Wicker, Lydia (18 June 1877 - 7 Aug. 1960)

Mrs. Thomas Wicker died Sunday morning at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital at the age of 83 years. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the First Evangelical and Reformed church, Rev. V. O. Grosshuesch officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Ed Mueller, William Mueller, Walter Mueller, Fred Beisner, Harold Gundelach and Vernon Gundelach, all nephews.

Lydia Gundelach was born on June 18, 1877, in Lomira. After her marriage to Diedrick Mueller, they operated a farm near Colby and later moved to the city of Colby, Wis. Her husband preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to Thomas Wicker who survives her. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America for 50 years and was the recorder of this society for a number of years.

Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Clara Hankwitz of Fond du Lac and a brother, Edward Gundelach of Lomira.

Out of town relatives and friends here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gundelach of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Gundelach of Eldarado, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beisner of Dorchester, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mueller of Athens, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Buchholtz, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Daniels, Mrs. John Mallanis and daughter, Mrs. Karl Buchholtz and Louis Weller of Owen, Edger Smidt and Paul Belling.
