Gunderson, Henry (? - 7 August 1950)

The news of the death of Henry Gunderson was barely recorded last week, reaching The Press late.

Mr. Gunderson died in Los Angeles August 7, (1950). He was an old-timer in these parts. Born in Eau Claire, he owned and managed a hardware and plumbing business in Neillsville for a long time. He married Adeline Neverman here in 1900. They had two children: Mrs. Ralph Barnes and Victor Gunderson, both of whom now live in Temple City, Cal.

The Gundersons moved to Eau Clare soon after their marriage and remained there until 1924. They then moved to Los Angeles, where Mr. Gunderson was long employed by the Los Angeles County Schools. He was retired a few years ago.

Mrs. Gunderson died in 1943. Two years later Mr. Gunderson married Annie Langworthy of Los Angeles, who survives. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, Cal. In addition to his wife and two children, Mr. Gunderson left three grandchildren, Gail and John Gunderson and Jim Brown; also a brother Edward of Eau Claire, and a sister, Mrs. Joanna Skamser of Superior, Wis.
