The Birthday club was entertained by Mrs. Palmer Vinger Monday evening with a 6:30 dinner at the café, followed by cards at the Vinger home. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Lawrence Cox, Mrs. A. C. Buker, Mrs. James McConnell and Mrs. Marcia Palms.

Sunday guests at the Don Warner home were their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Don Telford, and daughters of Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Toburen visited Tuesday with William Kuester at the hospital in Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Stewart of Withee were guests Sunday at the Wilbur Stewart home.

David Toburen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Delmain Toburen, was dismissed Saturday from the hospital in Marshfield.

Guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath were Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Zocher of Westchester, Ill.

Mrs. Joseph Zalewski of Elmhurst, Ill., and Mike Djubenski of McHenry, Ill., arrived Sunday. They were called by the death of their mother, Mrs. Katherine Djubenski. They spent until Wednesday at the John Djubenski home and with other relatives.

The senior citizens of Greenwood will meet at the Clark Electric auditorium this (Thursday) evening at 7 o’clock. William Snedic will show slides taken on his European trip last summer. A lunch will be served and games played.

The meeting of the Good Evening Club has been postponed for a week. It will be held at the home of Mrs. John Lindner at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 27.

The Jolly Homemakers postponed meeting will be held Tuesday evening, January 26, at the home of Mrs. Vern Henaman. Mrs. Vernon Lust and Mrs. Lloyd Horn will give the lesson on drugs.

The Come and Know Homemakers will meet at the home of Mrs. Godfrey Dyre tonight, (Thursday) at 8 o’clock. The lesson on drugs will be presented by Mrs. Arthur Hendrickson and Mrs. Arthur Turnquist.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kaisler of Pewaukee were weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Severson.

Mrs. Theodore Abel was admitted Friday afternoon to the hospital in Marshfield.

Mrs. Perry Volk and Dale Stabnow of Wisconsin dells spent Saturday here and attended the funeral of Mrs. Esther Etta Saturday morning.

Tom Behrens and Mrs. William Kuester visited William Kuester at the hospital in Marshfield Saturday.

Ignatz Koschak returned home Friday from the Marshfield hospital.

Judy Hill, who attends the University-Madison, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Truman Hill.

The annual meeting was held at Zion United Church of Christ Sunday morning, following the worship service. Larry Dallman conducted the meeting and Mrs. George Hoehne acted as secretary. Elected to the church board for a term of three years are Tom Querin and Theodore Abel. Vernon Lust was elected for a two-year term. Officers holding over are Allen Dallman, Robert Schneider and Ewald Schwarze. Reports were heard from the various organizations of the church.
