Munson, Erma (11 July 1916 - 3 May 1960)

Mrs. Gordon Munson died of a heart attack at her home in Curtiss Tuesday evening at the age of 43 years. Funeral services have been set for Friday at 2:00 P.M. in St. Paul’s Lutheran church in the town of Green Grove, Rev. Howard Timmermann officiating, and burial will be made Saturday at New Richmond. The body is reposing at the Lulloff Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gordon Munson of Curtiss, Wisconsin, who died of a heart attack at her home, were held Friday afternoon in St. Paul’s Lutheran church, Green Grove, Rev. Howard Timmermann officiating, and internment was made Saturday at New Richmond.

Emma Rudd was born on July 11, 1916, at New Richmond where she married Gordon Munson on December 28, 1935. They had lived in the Curtiss area since their marriage, and, for the past 14 years, operated the Oakland Cheese Factory. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran church and its Ladies’ Aid Society.

Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. George (Marjorie) Klengland of Los Angeles, Calif., Miss Barbara Munson, a student nurse at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire, Carol Munson at home; two sons, David and Allan Munson, at home; six brothers, David Rudd of Boyceville, William Rudd of New Richmond, Joseph Rudd of Cylon, Lawrence Rudd of Madison, Oliver Rudd of Chicago, Ill., Raymond Rudd of New Richmond; one sister, Mrs. Carl Kastens of New Richmond.
