Colby - Apr. 14, 1960

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Treankler at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital April 10.

Mrs. Minnie Boehm, who spent the winter months at the Bethel Home at Arpin, returned to her home in Colby, Wis.

Mrs. Amalia Weix returned from the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where she had been receiving medical treatments.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bartnik of Dorchester have moved into the second floor apartment of the Belva Loney residence. Mr. Bartnik is employed at the American Box Board plant.

Frank Goeltz, Jr., is expected home Sunday after spending two weeks in training with the U.S. Naval Reserve. His station was in New Port, Rd. I., but he was aboard a ship on the ocean.

Ed Stock, formerly of the Colby area, is convalescing at his home in Abbotsford, Wis. He was discharged from the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where he had been a patient a little more than eight weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. I. M. Firnstahl were in Seattle, Wash., several days last week where they attended the golden wedding anniversary of the former’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gorman Firnstahl.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Block, Judy and Jay, Mrs. Johanna Schultz and Henry Zitzer spent a week at LaMoure, N. Dak., with Norbert Block and family. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Block, Norbert Block and Henry Zitzer visited several days with the Alvin DuVall family at Wahalla, N. Dak., after which Mr. and Mrs. DuVall autoed them into Canada where they visited several places of interest.
