Podevels, Edward (23 Apr. 1894 - 15 Dec. 1959)

Edward Podevels of Colby, Route 2, died at 10:25 A.M. Tuesday in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. He suffered a skull fracture in a fall down a flight of stairs last week Tuesday at the Lester Sonneman home, where he had been employed, and never regained consciousness. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 P.M. at the Peace Lutheran church in the town of Frankfort, Rev. Henry Kirkau officiating, and internment will be made in the parish cemetery. The body is now reposing at the Lulloff Funeral Home.

Mr. Podevels was born in the town of Hull on April 23, 1894, and lived in the town of Hull practically all his life with the exception of several years in Minnesota. He was never married.

Surviving are three brothers and four sisters - Albert, Eugene and Herman of the town of Hull, Mrs. Louise Roeglin of Milwaukee, Mrs. Ida Wink of Waupaca, Mrs. Jeanette Schultz of Spencer and Mrs. Viola Kading of Sheboygan.
