Krasselt, George (23 Nov. 1903 - 3 June 1950)

The body of George Krasselt, 46, was found hanging Monday morning in the barn of his farm located about 5 1/2 miles southwest of here. Clark county Deputy Coroner, John Bergeman termed the death a suicide.

Mr. Krasselt was last seen alive Saturday morning by his three small sons who were on their way to Spencer to Church instructions. The oldest, about 10, reported that the father appeared to be all right at that time. Mrs. Krasselt has been in Trenton, N.J. for 10 days visiting relatives.

The three young boys made no effort to determine the whereabouts of their father on Saturday or Sunday and it was not until Monday morning when a brother of Krasselt, Siegert Krasselt of Spencer came to the house to borrow some tools that an investigation was made.

The body was found in the barn and authorities notified Bergeman said that Krasselt apparently took his life late Saturday morning or early in the afternoon.

Funeral arrangements had not been made at the time of going to press this week and a more complete obituary will be published next week.
