Olson, Sharon Ann (Marriage - 31 Oct. 1959)
Miss Sharon Ann Olson of Wisconsin Rapids, daughter of Mrs. J. A. Olson of Unity, and William Lloyd Dickey of Nekoosa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Dickey, Sr., of Nekoosa, were married in the Trinity Lutheran church at Unity, Wisconsin Saturday afternoon by Rev. *** Lines missing *** cascade bouquet of a lavender orchid and pink garnet roses and stephanotis.
Miss Calore Kirchmeyer of Sparta was the bride’s attendant. She wore a turquoise crystalette taffeta gown made in princess style with a lace bodice, and carried a large white lace fan with red garnet roses and yellow feathered carnations.
Ronald Dickey of Nekoosa, the groom’s brother, was best man. Paul Olson, the bride’s brother of Dayton, Ohio, and the groom’s brother, Gary Dickey of Philadelphia, Pa., were ushers.
Supper was served to about 100 wedding guests in the church parlors at 5 o’clock with a reception at 8:30 p.m. in the Kiwanis Youth Lodge in Kellner.
Mrs. Dickey is a graduate of Colby High School and has been employed in the Water and Light Department of Wisconsin Rapids. Her husband graduated from Alexander High School in Nekoosa and is employed by the Consolidated Water Power and Paper Co., in Wisconsin Rapids.
Following a wedding trip through southern Wisconsin, they will reside in Wisconsin Rapids.
