Laack, Nancy (Marriage - 24 Oct. 1959)

Miss Nancy Laack of Milwaukee, daughter of Mrs. Daisy Laack of Abbotsford, and Carl Diedrich of West Allis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Diedrich, Sr., of Colby, Wisconsin were married in Christ Lutheran church in Abbotsford Saturday afternoon, Rev. F. H. Sprengler reading the ceremony. Mrs. William Frome provided the organ music and Mrs. Norbert Diedrich sang, "The Lord’s Prayer" and "Because."

Potted chrysanthemums were seen on the church altar as Miss Laack came before it on the arm of her brother, Dan Laack. She was wearing a dress of white Chantilly lace and satin with a Queen Anne collar, with tapered sleeves and a bouffant skirt of lace and white net over satin. A crown headpiece held her finger-tip veil with inserts of lace and she carried a fan-shaped bouquet of red roses and white gardenias centered with a white orchid.

Mrs. Dan Laack of Gary, Ind., was matron of honor for her sister-in-law with Miss Joyce Diedrich, the groom’s sister, as bridesmaid. They wore dresses of strawberry pink silk organza over net styled with street-length harem skirts. Matching shoulder-length veils in net made up the crown headpices and they carried white lace baskets of pink rose buds.

Vicki Laack and Robert Diedrich, niece and nephew of the bride and groom, were flower girl and ring bearer. She wore a white dress with a polka dot net over skirt.

Norbert Diedrich of Colby served his brother as best man; William Marquardt and William Frome were groomsmen. Ushers were Arvin Gosse and Valgene Fischer.

The bride is a graduate of Abbotsford High School and works at the Allen Bradley Co. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The groom is a graduate of Colby High School and served four years in the U.S. Navy. He is employed by the Press Steel Tank Co. in West Allis. After a honeymoon trip through Northern Wisconsin, they will live at 1505 S. 63rd St., West Allis.
