Graham, Patricia Kathryn (Marriage - 20 June 1959)

Patricia Kathryn Graham, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Graham of Medford, Route 1, and James A. Lapp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lapp of Dorchester, Route 1, were married Saturday at 9:00 A.M. in the Holy Rosary Catholic church at Medford with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Gregory Reuter officiating at the services.

A gown of lace and tulle was donned by the bride for her appearance before the altar. The skirt had alternating tiers of lace and tulle and cascaded at the back to form a chapel train. A crown held her veil of French illusion, and she carried a cascade bouquet of red and white roses, lily of the valley, and white carnations.

Mrs. Gene Graham of Marshfield was matron of honor with Mrs. Harry Schmidt of Milwaukee, Miss Rita Johnson of Dorchester and Miss Viola Graham of Medford as bridesmaids. Escorting them were Gene Graham of Marshfield as best man, and Don Nelson of Menominee, John Lapp of Dorchester and Gerald Younker of Dorchester, as the groomsmen.

Guests were ushered by Donald Canny of Milwaukee and Clarence Stiber of Dorchester, Wis.

The bridal attendants wore street-length dresses of nylon over taffeta in yellow, blue, pink, and green. They carried cascade bouquets of carnations tinted to match their gowns and lily of the valley.

The flower girl, Pauline Stoiber of Dorchester, wore a dress matching the bride’s. She was escorted by Daniel Schmidt of Milwaukee as ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Medford VFW Hall with dinner for the family and relatives. Supper was served in the Holy Rosary church hall which was followed by dancing at Memorial Hall in Dorchester, Wis. Sunday, the couple left on a trip to western states.

The groom is a graduate of the Dorchester High School and the bride is a graduate of Medford High School. She worked for the Chain Belt Co. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They will make their home in Colby where the groom is employed by the American Box Board Co.
