Schulz, Charles G. (8 Oct. 1880 - 26 Mar. 1959)

Charles G. Schulz died at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital last Thursday at 9:00 P.M. at the age of 78 years, a heart ailment being the cause of his death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Rev. David Passet officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Angus Lamont, Herman Reckner, Fred Loughead, Lester Willner, William Tessmer and Frank Apfelbeck.

Mr. Schulz was born in Sheboygan county on October 8, 1880, and came to Colby with his parents when a small child. After he grew up, he operated a farm and engaged in carpenter work. He married Beulah Young at Colby on May 12, 1906, who preceded him in death February 12, 1942. In 1946 he married Carrie Lex at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She died April 23, 1957. They resided in Milwaukee until 1951 when they returned to Colby, Wis. The past three months he lived at the Clark County Home for the Aged at Greenwood.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Erma Romanik of Milwaukee; one son, Edward Schulz of Milwaukee; one grand daughter, Mrs. Margaret Robertson of Milwaukee; three great grand children; one brother, Arthur G. Schulz of International Falls, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Anna French of Minneapolis, Minn.

Out of town relatives here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Romanik, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schulz, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Robertson and their three children, Richard, Karen and Thomas, all of Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schulz of Oxford.
