Smith, Juanita (4 MAR 1944)

A bride of Mar. 4 was Miss Juanita Smith, daughter of Mrs. Lavina Smith of Milwaukee (formerly of Loyal) who exchanged nuptial vows with Frank Makal Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Makal of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Rev. S. P. Bell performed the ceremony at his parsonage.

The couple’s only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Sayser, brother-in-law and sister of the groom.

The bride wore a dress of pale green, with a dress suit, with orchid accessories. She wore a shoulder corsage of white sweet peas and sweetheart roses.

Mrs. Sauser wore an orchid suit made like the bride’s, with gold accessories. Her shoulder corsage was of orchid sweet peas and yellow roses.

The groom and his attendant wore black suits, with carnation boutonnieres.

A dinner was served at Knuth’s Café for the immediate families. A reception was held later at the home of the groom’s parents.

After a brief honeymoon, the newlyweds will be at home to friends and relatives at 3321 North 21st street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The only guest from out of town was the bride’s sister, Mrs. L. G. Anderson of Loyal.

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
