Moore, Fern (17 Nov. 1902 - 16 Apr. 1937)

Rites for Mrs. Fayne Moore, 34, former resident of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, who died of scarlet fever, Friday, at Hatfield after a week’s illness, were held at two o’clock Sunday afternoon from the Zink Funeral home. Services were conducted at the Abbotsford cemetery by the Rev. L. C. Smith where internment was made.

Pallbearers were George Brown, William Berry, Abe Strebe, Joseph Moore, Carl Speck, and Frank Goeltz.

Mrs. Moore, nee Fern Barker, was born on Nov. 17, 1902, at Abbotsford, and the couple made their home here until 1934 when they moved to Hatfield. Mrs. Moore was a member of the Woman’s Benefit association.

Surviving Mrs. Moore besides her husband and parents are four children, Bonnie, Barker, May and Mernajean.

Among the many out of town relatives and friends who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hanson and Mrs. Nellie Parkhurst, Cushing; Mrs. Albert Dilton and daughter, Doris, Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. John Wolk, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Cumming, and Wheeler Forman, Neillsville.
