Janezich, Stanley (2 AUG 1919 - 7 DEC 2008)

Stanley Janezich, 89, Waukegan, Ill., died on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at his home. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Friday, Dec. 12, at Marsh Funeral Home, Gurnee, Ill. The Rev. T. M. Caroll officiated. Burial was in Highland Memorial Park.

Stanley Janezich was born on Aug. 2, 1919, in Gorman. He was a World War ll Army veteran, and a member of the Waukegan Moose Lodge and American Legion Post #0281. He retired after working 38 years for Waukegan North Chicago Transit Company.

Survivors include one daughter J. (Kenneth) Knapp; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tony Janezich, Chicago, and Henry (Shirley) Janezich, Willard; and one sister, Dorothy Spurling, Liberal, Mo.
