Wellmann, Ellen (Marriage - 27 Dec. 1935)

Miss Ellen Wellmann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wellmann, Town of Holton, and Edwin Grauman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Grauman, Town of Hull, were united in marriage on Friday, December 27, at the Court House at Wausau, Judge Leicht performing the ceremony.

The bride wore an afternoon gown of royal blue, with shoulder bouquet of sweet peas and roses. Her accessories were black. She was attended by her sister, Miss Marion Wellmann, whose gown was of Indian rust color with brown accessories. She also wore a shoulder bouquet of sweet peas and roses.

The groom was attended by his cousin, Harold Ruppert.

A dinner and reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents at 7:30 to immediate relatives and a dance was held at the Cherokee hall in the evening.

The young couple will be at home on the groom’s farm in the Town of Hull, after January 6th.

The bride grew up here and has a host of friends. She is a graduate of the Abbotsford High School, and for the past year has been employed at Chicago.
