Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hogue were Neillsville visitors Monday.

Ed Fahey and Erwin Leach were Fairchild visitors Tuesday.

E.L. Ketchpaw was a Park Falls visitor last Tuesday.

Mrs. B.F. Ketchpaw, who spent the winter in Nevada, returned home yesterday.

J.B. Saunders of Park Falls was a business visitor here last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Ira Leach spent Sunday with friends near Alma Center.

Mr. and Mrs. Nug Hunt of Chippewa Falls were Greenwood visitors last Friday.

Ed Horner is the round possessor of an Overland Sedan purchased from L.C. Clute.

Quite a number from here attended the airplane circus at Marshfield last Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rossman of Manitowoc were over Sunday visitors here with relatives and friends.

J. O'Connell went to Fox Lake last Thursday for an over Sunday visit with relatives and friends.

Miss Eunice Paul returned from Wis. Rapids Monday, where she spent the past ten days with friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Christie, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Buker, and Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Buker and children spent Sunday at the Chas. Neff home near Neillsville.

George Celesnik of Willard has purchased a new Chevrolet touring car through Schwarze Bros., local dealers.

Mrs. Ad Brown was an Owen caller last Saturday.

Chas. Afkend and daughter Melva are visiting relatives and friends at Edmund, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Freiman and son of Thorp visited at the Joe Merkel home Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wellen Hartson spent Sunday with relatives and friends at Neillsville.

An airplane was in our city last Thursday and Friday, and quite a number of our citizens went up for a ride.

There will be English services at Braun Settlement Reformed Church next Sunday afternoon at two o'clock.

Several carloads of gypsies stopped here last Thursday, which caused people to guard their property and personal belongings.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Boullion and children and Mrs. Katherine Schufer and daughter of Fairchild spent Sunday here at the R.A. Masters home.

C.C. Hoehne had the misfortune to hurt his left hand while lowering the gates at the dam last Wednesday. The hand became caught in the cogs and was badly crushed.

O.C. Behrens and Otto Wetzel were Eau Claire visitors Monday.

Adolph Schwarze attended an Implement Dealers meeting at Marshfield Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wheaton and Mrs. Anna Wheaton of Duluth spent the weekend here at the Geo. Kern Sr. home.

Many from here attended the C.K. of Wis., initiation and banquet at Marshfield last Sunday.

Mrs. Harry Hogue and daughter Edna, Mrs. George Haeuser, Miss Blanche Pemberthy, and Miss Irene O'Connell were Marshfield visitors Saturday.

The Mother and Baby Center at Neillsville will be open June 3rd, from 9:00 to 4:30 at the Courthouse. Cora F. Allen, M.D., will make the examinations. All services are free.

Mrs. O.C. Behrens of his city and Miss Rue Cummings of Chippewa Falls went to Tomohawk yesterday, where they will attend the graduation exercises of their nephew.
