Koltis, Leocadia (26 JUL 1947)

John Bogue, son of Mrs. Ella Bogue of Chicago, Ill., and Miss Leocadia Koltis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Koltis of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony by Rev. F. J. Spellman at the Annunciation Church in Chicago at 3:00 o’clock p.m., July 26, 1947.

The couple was attended by Geo. Bogue, brother of the groom, and Adella Koltis, sister of the bride,

The bride, given away by her father, was attired in white velveray gown with a long train. Her full length veil with blusher was caught in a crown of beads. Her bouquet was of white roses and orchid tied with satin bows and streamers.

Maid of honor was Genevieve Koltis, sister of the bride, dressed in yellow velveray.

Maryann Bogue, sister of the groom, Evelyn Mcgrady and Elsie Marcucci, were bridesmaids, each dressed in blue velveray.

Frank Koltis, brother of the bride, Joseph Bogue, brother of the groom, and Bene Miller, nephew of the groom, served as ushers.

The bridesmaids carried bouquets of red roses tied with satin ribbons and red rose wreaths in their hair. The groom and ushers wore white tuxedos.

A reception was held at 6:00 o’clock at the May Hall, where three hundred guests enjoyed dancing and other festivities.

The couple will reside in Chicago, where the bride is employed at Sears roebuck and the groom on the Police Force.

Out of town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Anton Koltis, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Koltis, Harriet, Genevieve and Ben Koltis of Thorp, Wis., and Juanita Bogue of Springfield, Ill..
