Neumeister, Mabel (17 Sept. 1888 - 11 May 1958)

Miss Mabel Neumeister died Sunday evening at 9:30 o’clock at the age of 69 years after being ill for some time. Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Catholic church Wednesday morning, Rev. John B. Pinion officiating and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were John Reeves, Conrad Orth, Jr., William Sedlack, A. X. Umhoefer, Louis Justman and Francis Steinwand.

Miss Neumeister was born on September 17, 1888, in Colby, Wis. After graduating from Colby High School and Stevens Point State College, she taught school in Sheboygan, Merrill, Colby and St. Paul, Minn. She retired 12 years ago and returned to Colby to make her home here.

Surviving are two brothers and four sisters - Herman of Minneapolis, Minn., Harold of Milwaukee, Mrs. Lillian Hansen of Faribault, Minn., Mrs. Nellie Sorebo of Mankato, Minn., Miss Helen Neumeister of St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Adeline Imhuff of Colby, Wis.

Miss Neumeister had a wide circle of friends here who will remember her for her kind and winning ways and her interest in civic affairs.
