Beyreis, Edward (3 FEB 1870 - 4 DEC 1938)

Funeral services for Edward Beyreis, age 68, who died at his home Sunday, Dec. 4, at 1:30 (?) A. M. were held Wednesday at the Zink funeral parlors. Dr. E. L. Hoover officiated and interment was made at the Dorchester cemetery. The pallbearers were all nephews of the deceased: Arthur and Clayton Beyreis, Harry Hein, Ernest and Clarence Schade and Frank Fieldbrugge.

Edward Beyreis was born in Udersleben Germany, Feb. 3, 1870, and at the age of 12 he came to America with his parents. June 20, 1904, he was united in marriage to Fannie Picha at Dorchester, Wis. They moved to a farm in the Town of Holton where they resided until 1928 when they moved to Abbotsford, Wis.

Surviving are the widow and seven children: the Misses Pearl, Esther, Mary and Mrs. Della Brissee, Madison, and Ella at home; Mrs. Kathryn Johnson of Ashland; and Ernest Beyreis of Loyal. Also nine grandchildren survive.
