Mrs. P.E. Peterson and Mrs. Shaw entertained the Bridge Club at the Shaw home Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Harry Palms and Mrs. Meyers of Loyal spent Tuesday at the A.C. Buker home.

Mrs. Louie Arbs entertained the Card Club at her home Wednesday evening.

Mrs. R.L. Barnes entertained the Birthday Club at her home Wednesday evening.

C.C. Hoehne spent Tuesday in Neillsville acting on the County Board, of which he is a member.

There will be a bake sale at Drummond's Store, Saturday, May 2nd, for the benefit of the Women's Foreign Missionary Society.

Chas. Sherwood of Fairchild called on friends here Friday. Mr. Sherwood is interested in the F. & N.E. railroad and says that they expect to put on daily train service soon.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stabnow and children spent Sunday at the G.V. Rork home at Owen.

The Reformed Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. Dan O'Neil Thursday, April 30th.

Mrs. M.E. Kenyon entertained the Schafskopf Club at her home Tuesday evening.

Mrs. T.C. Parr spent the weekend with her mother in Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Snyder of Neillsville visited at the Wellen Hartson home Monday.

There is some talk about my leaving Greenwood. This rumor is without foundation, as I am going to remain in Greenwood where I will continue my practice as Neuropath. (P.W. Lotzer)

Mrs. M.K. Aaberg left Friday for Minneapolis where she will spend two weeks with relatives and friends.

Mrs. C. Keiner arrived home from Milwaukee Saturday after an extended visit there. She was accompanied by her little grandson, Lawrence Corbin.

J.S. Andrews and Rev. T.O Thompson were Colby visitors on Saturday.

Mrs. Maggie Walters came over from Wausau last week for a visit with relatives and friends.

Mrs. A.C. Buker and Mrs. Harry Palms were Marshfield visitors on Sunday.

Mrs. Harold Stabnow entertained the Larkin Club at her home last Wednesday evening.

Mrs. F. Pfunder returned home from Minneapolis last Friday where she spent the winter with relatives and friends.

Ken Andrews of Colby spent yesterday here with relatives and friends.

Miss Luciel McMahon of Marshfield spent several days of the past week here at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene McMahon.

Mrs. F.A. Oelig went to Chicago Tuesday for an extended visit at the Dr. H.R. Schofield home.

The Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. C.H. Clute Friday afternoon.

Jack Moberg returned to Wausau yesterday after spending the past ten days here with home folks.

Mrs. Emma Loos is quite ill at her home here.

Mrs. Ed Arends entertained the Suffragettes at her home last Friday evening.

P.W. Gullord and family have moved into the Thompson residence, where they will reside until the new addition to their drug store has been completed. Work on the addition has already been started.

Harry Moberg and family of Abbotsford spent from Friday until Sunday here with relatives and friends.

Mrs. Belle Burch, who has been spending some time in Iowa and Minnesota, arrived home Monday. Her granddaughter, Elizabeth Haeuser of Ames, Iowa accompanied her home and will spend the summer here. Mrs. Albert Schwarze met them at Withee.
