Beyerl, Peter Paul (5 Jan. 1881 - 5 Mar. 1958)

Peter Paul Beyerl died Wednesday morning, Mar. 5, at his home in the town of Colby at the age of 77 years. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby Saturday morning at 10:00 o’clock, Rev. John B. Pinion officiating, and internment will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

The body is at the Lulloff Funeral Home where the Christian Mothers will say a rosary this Thursday evening at 8:00 o’clock and a general rosary will be said Friday night after church services.

Mr. Beyerl was born in the town of Colby on January 5th, 1881. He married Anna Schessick of Dorchester at Colby on November 25, 1913. They engaged in farming in the town of Colby, Wis.

Surviving are his widow; one son, Peter John Beyerl of Colby; an orphan boy they raised, Ferdinand Gauthier of Waukegan, Ill.; a sister, Elsie Schramm of Colby; six grand children.

Mr. Beyerl was well known as an industrious farmer with a friendly disposition so friendship’s circle to him was a large one. His many friends will remember him for these qualities and his fine Christian character.

Funeral services for Peter Paul Beyerl were held at St. Mary’s Catholic church Saturday morning, Rev. John B. Pinion officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Alois Beyerl, Henry Schuh, Jim Beyerl, Tony Schuh, Francis Beyerl and Albert Weix.

Out of town people here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ferd. Gauthier of Waukegan, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Gelhaus and Mr. and Mrs. George Brost of Medford, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Schefsick and Frank Schefsick of Chippewa Falls, Mr. and Mrs. James Bertz and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Schefsick of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Schigley and Mr. and Mrs. William Koffarnus of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Baumer and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stoiber of Dorchester, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Karsten and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schuh of Curtiss, Ray Miller of Unity, Wis.
