Mr. and Mrs. Harold Horn and children of Greenwood were visitors at the Ted Frome home Sunday evening.

A son was born November 28 at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. James Eggebrecht of Colby, Route 2.

Mr. and Mrs. Delos Luhrsen and son of Marshfield spent Thanksgiving Day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William A. Witte.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Ketterl and daughter, Carol Lou, spent Thanksgiving day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Markus.

Mr. and Mrs. William Zassenhaus and son, John, of Durand, Ill., spent Sunday with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zassenhaus.

Mr. and Mrs. G. Nystrom spent Thanksgiving Day at the Jack Gummerson home at Owen and Sunday at the Frank Karyes home in Greenwood.

Dean Podevels, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Podevels, returned from the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital, where he underwent an operation for appendicitis.

Alphonse Gries of Park Falls spent Thanksgiving Day with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Stieber, and grand daughter, Christine.

Mr. and Mrs. James P. Wilde Jr. were dinner guests of the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Anderson and family on Thanksgiving Day.

Mr. and Mrs. Delos Kobs and daughters of Mount Horeb spent the week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Kobs and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kademan.

Mr. and Mrs. William Sedlack spent Thanksgiving Day at Oshkosh with their son-in-law and daughter. Mrs. Sedlack stayed for a longer visit, until Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilde are the proud parents of a son, Kevin James, who weighed in at 9 pounds 9 ounces Sunday, Dec. 1 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Olstinski and family of Marshfield were Thanksgiving Day dinner guests of Mrs. Olstinski’s mother, Mrs. Rose Thorns, and uncle, Peter Apfelbeck.

CT2 George L. Hansen, U.S. Navy, is home on a 20-day leave after spending 24 months overseas in the Pacific. He will report at San Juan, Porto Rico, for his further assignment.

Mr. and Mrs. Hans Hansen of Camp Douglas and four daughters and their families spent Thanksgiving Day with their son and daughter-in-law and brother and sister-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Raymond L. Hansen.

Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Hanford, daughter, Julia, and Miss Mary Louise Lindsay of Downers Grove, Ill., James Lindsay and Miss Carol Rowsey of Wichita, Kan., spent the Thanksgiving week-end with Mr. and Mrs. John E. Lindsay. They all attended the funeral of Mr. Lindsay’s mother, Mrs. Mary Lindsay, at Reedsburg, Saturday.
