A requiem mass was said at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) for Charles J. Larsen, who passed away at his home Sunday night. The Rt. Rev. Bornbach, Owen, officiated at the final rites Jan. 7, 1948, at 1:00 Wednesday morning. Interment was made in the Riverside Cemetery.

Pallbearers were John Zasoba, Fred Warns, Jr., Chris Christophersen, Melvin Erickson, Withee, W. P. Hilt, Owen, and Walter Beilfuss, Neillsville.

Mr. Larsen was born on March 12, 1865, in Denmark. He came to Withee in 1902 and has ever since resided in that community. For years he was engaged in business for himself as a blacksmith, having retired from that business about six years ago.
