Kaminski, Anastasia (20 Feb. 1902 - 2 Nov. 1987)

THORP - Anastasia Kaminski, 85, Thorp, died Friday morning at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Thorp, with the Rev. John Puerner officiating. Burial will be in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery, Thorp.

The family has requested memorials to be given in her name.

The former Anastasia Pannek was born Feb. 20, 1902, in St. Anna, Minn., a daughter of the late Albert and Mary Pannek. She lived in Minnesota for a number of years.

She was married to Joseph Kaminski April 28, 1925, in Minneapolis. He died in 1966.

The couple moved to rural Thorp, where they farmed for several years. In 1968, Mrs. Kaminski moved to the city of Thorp.

Surviving are two sons, John, Milwaukee, and Louis, Anchorage, Alaska; four daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Josephine) Weitzel, St. Cloud, Minn., Mrs. Rita Ciolkosz, Sacramento, Calif., Mrs. Joseph (Theresa) Zoromski, Neenah, and Julia Kaminski, New York; two sisters, Mrs. Anthony (Hattie) Tuhulla, Sauk Rapids, Minn., and *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
