GREEN GROVE NEWS

Miss Hazel Barr, teacher of the Woodland School, spent the week at her home in Greenwood.

Hugo Krueger, who has been quite ill a the home of his brother Wm. Is reported on the gain.

Walter Glenzer is on the sick list.

A number of girl friends were entertained Sunday by Vernice Sommers in honor of her birthday.

Miss Hester Bradshaw has resumed teaching at the Miller School after being ill for two weeks.

Mrs. John Scheer is visiting her daughter in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Marquardt and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wiegman and family were Sunday guests at the Arthur Sommers home.

The Ladies Aid at Mrs. F. Schauer’s last week was well attended.

A number of neighbors spent last Thursday evening a the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gerken.

Arthur Tonn has been ill with quincy.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Woik and son were Sunday guests at the Theo. Sommers home.

A number of men from this vicinity attended the Skat tournament at Curtiss last Sunday.

A number of neighbors and friends gathered at the home of Ivan Larson Monday evening in honor of his birthday. Cinch was played. Mr. Oscar Kademan and Anton Hennlich scored highest and Mrs. Art Sommers and Norbert Laabs winning low. A delicious lunch was served and all report a good time.

Rev. Goetsch attended conference at Park Falls last week, returning home Thursday.
