Mr. and Mrs. Donald Adams and children of Eau Claire were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Artac and family.

Henry Lamovec, Jr., left Monday for basic army training at Fort Knox, Ky.

Mrs. Roger Kirn has been dismissed from Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Dr. and Mrs. James Ulesich and family of Menomonie were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ulesich.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Scharenbrock and children of Chicago, Ill., were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Scharenbrock and also visited Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Jordan.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lamovec and children of Milwaukee were guests last weekend of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lamovec.

Mrs. John F. Trunkel and son, Jack, and Mrs. Mary Gosar visited Sunday in Wabasha, Minn., with Sister M. Antonia.

Miss Mary June Bayuk of Milwaukee spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bayuk, and family.

John Fortuna of Trevor, Mrs. Mary Savage and daughter, Pauline, of Berwyn, Ill., and Mrs. John Fortuna of Rock Springs, Wyo., attended the funeral of Miss Agnes Fortuna last Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wene of Milwaukee spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parkel, Jr., and Mrs. Mary Parkel.

Mrs. Anna Volovsek and daughter, Mrs. Betty Fraid of Milwaukee, have returned from La Crosse, where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vitko Staut.

Mr. and Mrs. John Trunkel, Jr., and Janice Marcott returned last week after a week’s vacation.

Miss Diane Klapatauskas has returned from Milwaukee, where she visited relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Vitko Staut of La Crosse visited her mother, Mrs. Anna Volovsek last week.

Mrs. Frances Walter has been a patient at a Marshfield Hospital since last week.

Mr and Mrs. Vicor Halbrader and family were guests last Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Baltus and family in Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Tony Jeras and daughters, Jean and Joan, and son, George, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jeras, all of Brookfield, were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Volovsek.
