Miss Olga Kohniak, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kohniak, became the bride, July 6, 1947, at Lublin, of William Earl Joyce, Jr., Greenwood (Clark Co.), son of Mr. and Mrs. William Joyce, Sr. The Rev. Michael Maletich officiated.

The matron of honor was Mrs. Helen Kohniak, Chicago, the bride’s sister-in-law, who wore blue net over satin, with a white blusher veil and a crown of blue flowers, and who carried gardenias combined with carnations, daisies, and blue fern.

The bridesmaids were Irene Selwane and Anna Lang, Thorp, who wore white net over satin with blushers and bouquets similar to the maid of honor’s.

The groom was attended by Walter Joyce, his brother, who was best man, and George Kohniak, the bride’s brother, who was groomsman.

The flower girl was Janice Smith, Loyal, who wore white slipper satin and carried a colonial bouquet. The ring bearer was a brother of the groom.

The bride wore a brocaded slipper satin gown with lace inserts, a long veil with a short blusher fastened to a crown of orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of gardenias and sweet peas.

A reception was held at the home of the bride, where a dinner and supper were served to 300 persons. There were 500 guests in attendance at a barn dance held in honor of the couple.

The couple will live at Greenwood where they will engage in farming.
