Frank Edward Hodorowski was born on December 30, 1923, to Albert J. and Mary Ann (Musial) Hodorowski in the Township of Withee, rural Thorp. He received his Baptism, Holy Communion and Confirmation at St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Frank was raised on the family farm and received his education at Sterling School.

Frank was united in marriage to Amelia Wink at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Thorp on May 8, 1948. They bought a farm in August of 1949 in the Township of Reseburg and farmed until 1985, when illness struck Frank and he became disabled. Their son Marvin then purchased the farm and they continued to live on the farm with him. When his health improved, and with Marv’s help at boosting him up on the tractor, Frank drove tractor for field and harvesting work. He enjoyed knowing he was helping out.

Frank was a member of St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church, and had many interests, but especially enjoyed farming, the dairy cows, and was very adept at fixing his cars and machinery. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Amelia, of Thorp; his three sons: Donald Hodorowski, Jerry (Shirlee) Hodorowski, and Marvin Hodorowski, all of Thorp; five grandchildren: David, Neil (special friend Jessica Stickler), Steven, Heidi and Kelly; one great grandson, Everett; one sister, Pauline Zielanis of Thorp; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Joseph, John and Harry Hodorowski; and five sisters: Clara Czernicki, Ann Tomkowiak, Molly Hodorowski, Helen Leski and Rose Zielinski.
