Hemlock. Aug 29.

Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hummel spent Sunday with Mr. Hummel’s parents.

Cliff Arnold and Elyia Driebuck drove to Greenwood Sunday forenoon.

Bessie Warner spent Saturday and and [sic] Sunday with Byron Mead.

The Ladies’ Sewing Society meets with Mrs. Martin Anderson Sept. 8.

Mr. Lightfoot of Fairchild is here visiting his sister Mrs. Warren Hummel.

Mrs. Fred Limprecht and son Theodore Cramer were callers at Otto Gruwell’s Monday evening.

Mr. Cliff Arnold arrived Sunday evening to take charge of the stock and work about the barn for Theo. Withee.

Mesdames Warner, Drummond and Oelig of Greenwood attended the Sewing society at Mrs. George Warner’s Thursday last.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Geisler, Mr. and Mrs. William Braun and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Horn spent Sunday afternoon at the Fred Limprechts and family.

Mrs. V. W. Hatch of Mound City, S.D., is making her sister, Mrs. George Warner, a visit. The two ladies will go to Prey Tuesday to visit an uncle.

A party consisting of Mr. and Theo. Withee, Mr. and Mrs. Thaxter Shaw, Miss Hansen of Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Owens, a friend from Owen, took dinner up the river Sunday.
