Sinkler, Hazel (1891 - 11 Feb. 1964)

Mrs. Hazel Sinkler

Mrs. Hazel Sinkler, who with her husband, the late E. F. Sinkler, resided in Crystal Lake for some 30 years, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Ft. Myers, Fla., in the home where she lived with the Selmer "Sam" Salversens, also formerly of Crystal Lake. It was about 10 years ago that the Sinklers sold their home on W. Hillside rd. and moved to Florida.

Surviving are two daughters, Yvonee Salvesen and Mrs. Earl L. (Sybil) Patton of Seattle, Wash., and two grandchildren both living in Ft. Myers, Mrs. Ted Farquer (the former Isla Wynn Salvesen) and Mauret, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held in Ft. Myers, and are being conducted today in Black Falls, Wis., where burial will be.

This is an addition to the obituary for Mrs. Hazel Sinkler telegraphed after the Crystal Lake Herald was published last Thursday. Besides the daghters, grandchildren and great grandchild named, Mrs. Sinkler is also survived by a sister Irene (Irlene)Lamkins of Manawa, Wis., and a brother, Oakley Parkhill of King, Wis.

NOTE: Hazel was one of three children of George B. Parkhill and his wife Isabella (Salisbury) Parkhill of Thorp and, later, Abbotsford, WI. The other two children were Irlene (1898-1992) and Oakley (1890-1973).
