Zilsdorf, Mary (5 May 1907)

The following was received this week from Elreno, Okla., relative to the marriage of a former Fairchild girl.

At 3 o’clock, Sunday afternoon May 5, 1907, at the German Lutheran church at Elreno, occurred the wedding of Miss Mary Zilsdorf and Mr. Henry Betche, B.G. Smicht officiating.

The bride was beautifully dressed in black taffeta silk and carried a bouquet of white roses. Mrs. Wm. Thur and Miss Leona Zilsdorf, sister of the bride, acted as bride’s maids and Mr. Wm. Thur and Lounds Bollinger as groomsmen.

An elegant wedding supper was served at 6 o’clock at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Zilsdorf. The room was beautifully decorated with white roses and carnations and the evening passed with games and music.

Several beautiful presents were received with congratulations and many good wishes. The bridal party left for their happy home the next day.
