Kvint, Esther Margaret #2 (23 SEP 1939)

On Saturday afternoon at 1:30, Miss Esther Kvint, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kvint, became the bride of Earl Krucker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Krucker of Colby, Wis. The marriage service was read by the Rev. J. Brandt in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.

The bride wore a gown of white satin trimmed with lace and gold slippers. Her long veil fell in a train from a beaded crown of pearl. She carried a bouquet of roses, gladioli and dahlias.

Miss Marie Kvint attended her sister as maid of honor. She wore a taffeta frock of pink with matching shoulder veil.

Miss Verna Krucker, sister of the groom, attended as bridesmaid in a frock of blue with matching shoulder veil. Both wore wrist bouquets of roses and white slippers.

Earl Stroschine and Harvey Fredin, cousins of the bride, were attendants of the groom.

After the services in the church a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents in the Town of Holton (Marathon Co., Wis.). Cut flowers and streamers of white, pink and blue decorated the home. About 50 guests were present.

In the evening the young couple entertained their friends at a wedding dance at Wiedenhoeft’s Park.

The bride is a graduate of the Abbotsford High School, having been a member of last year’s graduating class.

After Oct. 5th the young people will have returned from a wedding trip in Minnesota and will be at home to their friends on a farm in Cherokee, where the groom is engaged in farming and also carpentry.
