Duellman, Dorothy #2 (22 APR 1939)

Miss Dorothy Duellman, daughter of Henry Duellman, exchanged marriage vows with Herbert Hollman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hollman, Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), on Saturday morning in St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. The Rev. C. D. Brady performed the ceremony during a nuptial high mass at 8 o’clock. Paul Duellman, brother of the bride, and Jack Nikolay were the altar boys.

The bride who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin gown with lace yoke on princess lines. Her long rain veil was caught with a band of seed pearls. There was a secondary veil worn finger tip length. She carried a bouquet of white roses and carnations.

Miss Cora Hollman, sister of the bridegroom, was the bride’s only attendant. She wore a frock of aqua chiffon matching picture hat and carried a bouquet of carnations, snapdragons and baby breath.

The bride’s brother, Frank Duellman, attended as best man.

Fifty guests were entertained after the ceremony at a reception at the Frank Hollman home. The residence was decorated for the occasion in blue and white with a large white wedding bell and a decorated cake.

Guests who were present included Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Frank and daughter, North Prairie; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krejci, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Alvis Obernberger and daughter Rita, Stratford; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest ?? and family, Kollian and Louis Gierl, Colby; Mrs. Leonard Beissel, Besember, Mich. Mr. and Mrs. Armand Duellman and daughter, Cherokee; Mr. and Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Seidel and children, ed Hollman, Henry Duellman, sons Frank, Matt and Paul; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hollman Jr. and daughter; The Rev. C. D. Brady, all of Abbotsford; The Rev. Philip Weller and John Jantsch of Dorchester, Wis.

In the evening Mr. and Mrs. Hollman gave a wedding dance at the Abbotsford Armory.

Mr. and Mrs. Hollman left on a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and Michigan. They will be at home to their friends on a farm eight miles northeast of Dorchester, Wis.
