Janet Schultz

Dorchester - Janet Helen Schultz, 55, of Dorchester, died at 12:58 p.m. Thursday, January 30, 1997, at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care, Marshfield.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Peace United Church of Christ in Dorchester, Wis. The Reverend Robert Everhard and the Reverend Bruce Jahnke will officiate.

Burial will be in the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kevin Schultz, Bradley Nelson, Urban Heindl, Henry Schultz, Alvin Zugier and Aaron Schmidt.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford, Wis.

She was born on January 21, 1942 in Owen, the daughter of Harold and Hilda (Neuhaus) Schultz. She attended the former Pickard Grade School in the Town of Holton where she lived on the family farm.

A disabled lady, she resided at he Clark County Health Care Center in Owen for many years and also in Adult Foster Care in Loyal and Abbotsford, Wis. She enjoyed scripture study and was an avid reader. Janet loved the Green Bay Packers and was able to share their big win in the Super Bowl. She was a member of Peace United Church and also attended the Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church.

Survivors include her father Harold Schultz of Dorchester; three brothers, Jerry (Judy) Schultz of Abbotsford, Allen "Ollie" (Barbara) Schultz of Colby, and Thomas Schultz of Dorchester; two sisters, Susan (Jeff) Zimmer of Dorchester and Donna (Darwin) Nelson of Genoa City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hilda Schultz, in March of 1990 and her grandparents.
