Burrington, Jackie Renee (5 Sept. 1957 - 2 June 2000)

Jackie Renee Burrington, 42, of Colfax, died Friday June 2, 2000 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison after a courageous battle with leukemia.

She was born Sept. 5, 1957, in Chippewa Falls to Beverly H. (Winger) and Reuben A. Burrington. She was a 1975 graduate of Chippewa Falls Senior High School.

Survivors include her mother, Beverly Burrington of Colfax, three sisters, Paulette (Allen) Enger of Raleigh, NC, Roxie (David) Janecke of Chippewa Falls, Tracey (Bruce) of Pensicola, Fla; two brothers; Dan (Eve), Burrington, of Colfax, Brian Burrington of Chippewa Falls; 11 nieces and nephews, one great nephew, and all of her devoted Albertville friends.

She was preceded in death by her father on October 3, 1981, and her niece Amy Enger. A funeral service was held on June 5, at Crossroads Church, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Jeffrey K North officiating. Burial was at Butler Cemetery, Clark County. Jackie enjoyed playing cards with her friends, and has been a very good Green Bay Packer fan. She will be very dearly missed by her family and friends.
